Healing, a Messy Business

Healing isn’t candlelight and mantras

The world sells “self-care” like a scented candle.
But real healing doesn’t smell good.
It smells like smoke and disinfectant.

It’s not a bath. It’s a flood.
It’s not a mantra. It’s a meltdown.
And the only essential oil involved is adrenaline.

The Myth of Pretty Pain.

Social media turned healing into an aesthetic.
You can post your shadow work, hashtag your breakdown,
even monetize your transformation if you add a light leak filter.

But the nervous system doesn’t care about your feed.
It wants honesty, not branding.
Healing happens when your self-image stops being your hostage.

The Deprogramming Process.

You’ll unlearn more than you learn.
You’ll cry over the version of you who believed “good vibes only” was a strategy.
You’ll rage at your therapist, your childhood, and every quote that told you to “trust the universe.”

Healing doesn’t trust the universe.
It interrogates it.

It digs into the corrupted files labeled love, safety, and God,
and finds malware hidden under all three.

The Output.

Healing spits you out raw and unmarketable.
You won’t look spiritual, you’ll look haunted.
You’ll print pages of old emotions that smell like smoke because they’re still burning.

And that’s when you know it’s working.
Because the point was never to look healed.
The point was to stop pretending you were broken.
